Which bracket do you need?
Most people aren't sure, and it's the question I get asked most. Here's the short version — or pick fixed slimline and I'll tell you if I'd do something different.
Fixed slimline
Most lounge roomsHolds the TV flat and close to the wall — about 3cm off it. The cleanest, most built-in look, and what nine out of ten people end up choosing. Heavy duty, so size isn't a problem.
Tilt
TVs mounted up highAngles the screen downward so you're not looking at it edge-on. Worth it above a fireplace, or in a bedroom where you're watching from lower down.
Single-arm swing
Watching from more than one spotPulls away from the wall and swivels. Handy if you want to see the screen from the kitchen as well as the couch, or angle it away from window glare.
Double-arm swing
Corners and wide roomsReaches out furthest and turns both ways. The one to pick for a corner mount, or a long room where the couch isn't square to the wall.
Straight pricing, nothing hidden
All prices are installed and complete. No call-out fee, and no surcharge for brick, concrete, tile or steel stud.
| TV size | Your bracket | Fixed slimline | Full motion |

| 76" – 85" | from $189 | $229 | from $349 |
| 86" and over | from $219 | $299 | from $449 |

Pick a time that suits
Seven days a week, 7am to 8pm. I'll confirm the wall and TV with you beforehand so there are no surprises.
I mount it and clean up
Most jobs take under two hours. Drop sheets down before I start, dust swept up after, and we check it together before I pack up.
What you get, every job
Lifetime guarantee on all TV wall mounts
Every TV I mount is covered for as long as you own it. It's peace of mind rather than a warning — in five years I've never had one come down.
Any wall, same price
Brick, double brick, concrete, tile or steel stud — no surcharge. Most installers charge extra. I don't.
No call-out fee, no surprises
The price you're quoted is the price you pay. If I can't do the job, you don't pay. If I can mount the TV but the wall won't allow the cables to be hidden, you only pay for the mount.
I don't leave until you're happy
We'll check the position, the level and the finish together before I pack up.
Questions people ask me
Will you damage my wall?
The bracket needs bolts into structure, so there will be fixing holes behind the TV — that's unavoidable with any installer. They're hidden by the TV itself, and if you ever take it down they patch with a bit of filler and paint. For hidden cables I cut a small opening at each end, both of which sit behind the TV and the cabinet. Nothing visible is left behind.
Can you mount on brick, concrete or tile?
Yes, all of them, at no extra charge. Most installers add a surcharge for hard walls — I don't. Brick and concrete are actually stronger to fix into than plasterboard.
My wall is steel stud. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and it doesn't cost extra. Steel studs need different fixings to timber, which is the only reason I ask what the wall is when you're getting a price.
Do you supply the bracket, or do I buy one?
Either. I carry fixed slimline, tilt, single-arm and double-arm brackets to suit anything up to 98", and the price you see includes it. If you've already bought one, I'll use yours and the price drops.
Which bracket do I need?
Fixed slimline suits most lounge rooms — it sits flat and looks the tidiest. Go tilt if the TV is up high, like above a fireplace. Go swing arm if you want to watch from the kitchen as well as the couch, or if it's going in a corner. If you're unsure, pick fixed and I'll tell you on the call if I'd do something different.
How do you hide the cables?
Your cables drop down inside the wall cavity behind the TV and come out lower down, behind your TV cabinet. Nothing is visible from the front. On solid concrete where a cavity run isn't possible, I use white surface conduit instead — same price.
What if my cables aren't long enough?
Very common, and it's the one thing that catches people out — the HDMI in the box is about a metre and a half, which won't reach from behind the TV, down inside the wall and out at your cabinet. I carry HDMI, ethernet, aerial and power leads in the right lengths, so I can sort it on the spot rather than rebooking. They're an add-on to the job when you need them.
Will it make a mess?
Drop sheets go down before I start, and I sweep up before I leave. Drilling into brick or plasterboard makes some dust — that's exactly what the sheets are for, and it comes up with a broom. It's never messy.
Do I need an electrician?
Usually not. HDMI, aerial and network cables can go inside the wall, and your TV's power lead runs down to the existing power point behind the cabinet. You only need an electrician if you want a new power outlet directly behind the TV — that's licensed work, and I'll arrange a licensed electrician to do that part.
My TV is 85 inches. Can that go on plasterboard?
Yes. The bracket bolts through the plasterboard into the timber or steel behind it, and that's what carries the weight — the plasterboard itself isn't holding anything. Big TVs are lighter than most people expect, and the brackets I use are rated well above what they need to be.
What does the lifetime guarantee actually cover?
My workmanship — the fixings, the bracket installation, the way it's mounted — for as long as you own the TV. If anything ever went wrong because of how I installed it, I come back and fix it free. In five years it hasn't happened once. What it doesn't cover is damage that isn't down to me: someone knocking it, kids or pets pulling on it, a storm or cyclone, building work, or somebody else altering the installation afterwards. Fair either way.
What if I move house?
I can take it down and remount it at the new place. Takedown on its own is $99, or if I'm mounting it again at the other end it's the install price plus $79.
How long does it take?
A straightforward mount is under an hour. Add cables inside the wall and it's closer to an hour and a half. I'll give you a realistic window when we book rather than a vague morning-or-afternoon.
Do you clean up afterwards?
Yes. Drop sheets down before I start, and everything — dust, offcuts, packaging — leaves with me. You shouldn't be able to tell I was there apart from the TV on the wall.
What if you get here and it can't be done?
You don't pay. I go through the wall type and TV with you beforehand specifically so this doesn't happen, and it hasn't yet. If I could mount the TV but the wall won't allow the cables to be hidden, you only pay for the mount — never for the part I couldn't do.
Can you mount above a fireplace?
Yes, at no extra charge. I'd suggest a tilt bracket so you're not craning your neck. Worth checking the wall doesn't get hot above the fire — I'll look at that on the day.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. The price you're quoted is the price you pay, and there's no fee for turning up. For bigger jobs over $500 I'm happy to come and quote in person first.
How far do you travel?
I'm based in Upper Coomera and cover the whole Gold Coast, Logan, Brisbane, out to Ipswich and south into northern NSW. No travel surcharge anywhere in that area.
